This position will provide support for Tulane Medical Alumni Association events and projects.

Hourly Pay Rate: $12/hour

Some job responsibilities include:

  • Provides administrative support to the School of Medicine Alumni Relations team.
  • Assists with meeting and event preparation, particularly for alumni reunions.
  • Helps create social media posts promoting reunions and other TMAA-hosted events, and develops/maintains reunion social media calendar.
  • Reaches out to alumni to get updated contact info and send corrections into database management.
  • Organizes and proofs reunion class packets, which include class notes, donor honor roll lists, in-memoriam lists, and class composite photos.
  • Helps organize the School of Medicine supply room.

Job Qualifications:

  • Applicant should be an undergraduate or graduate student of Tulane University.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working in both a team environment and independently.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
  • Exhibits a willingness to assume additional duties or responsibilities.
  • Ability to exercise discretion with sensitive donor information.

Job Location: This position requires some in-person work to prepare for events and assist at events, but most work can be completed remotely. Our office is located downtown at 1555 Poydras. Tulane provides a shuttle from the Uptown campus to the Downtown campus.
