Structures Engineer

Job Title: Structures Engineer 

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 8+ Months- possible extension/conversion

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 55.00/hr- $ 60.00/hr .

Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• Review and verify structural maintenance records from previous operators
• Cross reference defects/modifications against FAA documentation, manuals, and approval authorities
• Validate structural repairs and service bulletin modifications were completed correctly
• Transfer verified records and maintenance history into TRAX. 
• Support aircraft acquisition and onboarding processes
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, compliance, and project teams
• Experience with similar airline maintenance/engineering management systems
• Freighter aircraft experience
• Retrofit / modification project exposure
• Maintenance documentation review & verification
• Experience utilizing aviation MRO/maintenance tracking software
• Structures Engineering background
• Experience as a structures engineer
