Your Role Lead Technician
You ll lead structured cabling crews on active commercial job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead crews of Technicians (Level I III), Helpers, and Apprentices
Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic systems
Perform high-level copper and fiber terminations
Conduct Fluke testing, certification, and documentation
Oversee rack-and-stack builds and MDF/IDF room installations
Plan cable pathways including ladder rack and cable tray
Interpret blueprints and manage cable routing
Track materials and provide daily updates to Project Managers
Maintain quality control and production timelines
You set the standard clean work, properly labeled, tested, and delivered right the first time.
What You Bring
3+ years of structured cabling / voice & data experience
Proven leadership running commercial installation crews
Strong fiber termination and testing experience
Fluke testing and documentation expertise
Knowledge of EIA/TIA standards
Ability to manage production schedules and deadlines
Strong communication with project teams and stakeholders
Reliable transportation
BICSI certification (Technician or higher) is a plus
