Structural welder

SUMMARY: Seeking experienced welder/fabricator to join our team in repairing and

maintaining manufacturing equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

.Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project

Cutting, forming, punching, stamping, shearing and welding

Using the correct welding materials to join metals together

Set up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures

Works from specifications, drawings and welding symbols

Repair carbon steel parts and machinery daily

Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

.Fabrication skills

o Experience in stick welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding, or SII/AW)

.2-3 years' experience in structural welding

PHYSIGAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Frequently required to stand and walk

Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

Frequently required to lifUpushlcarry items up to 50 pounds

Occasionally required to balance, bend, stoop, or kneel

Occasionally required to operate forklift
