Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift (approximately 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, subject to variation)

Summary:
Support airframe structural design activities for commercial aircraft production programs.
Develop, modify, and maintain structural design solutions for aircraft components and assemblies.
Create and revise 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation using CATIA V5.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to support design implementation and issue resolution.
Analyze and resolve structural design challenges in a fast-paced production environment.
Apply engineering principles and best practices to support airframe design, manufacturability, and production requirements.
Utilize engineering systems and tools such as DCCS, ETAC, and PDM for documentation and configuration management.
Communicate technical findings, design updates, and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Science.
8+ years of related experience in structural design engineering.
Experience with CATIA V5 and aerospace structural design tools/processes.
Previous experience supporting commercial aircraft structures programs, preferably narrow-body aircraft platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Self-starter with the ability to identify needs and execute work with minimal direction.
Ability to develop technical solutions for a broad range of structural design challenges.
Familiarity with engineering/documentation systems such as DCCS, ETAC, and PDM.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
