We hire the best and the brightest from across the country – constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A DAY IN THE LIFECommunicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and others outside the project teamPrepare preliminary designs for clientsUtilize ASCE, AISC, ACI, and other relevant building codes to produce high‑quality, safe, and economical designsAttend client meetingsCoordinate with construction project managers, architects, civil, and mechanical engineersProduce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents, as well as constructionProduce construction‑ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines to ensure completeness and accuracyManage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teamsNecessary QualificationsBS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering2-5+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally in commercial constructionAbility to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light‑gauge steel, and understanding of foundation designProficiency using Revit independently to create construction‑level structural drawings is highly preferredKnowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages is preferredProficiency using Microsoft Office SuiteEngineer In Training (EIT) is highly preferredMAKE YOUR MOVEAt OneFourTwo, we believe that every structure has a unique story to tell.
