Structural Engineer Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Structural Engineer Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects from planning through completion. In this remote role, you will oversee project execution, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that structural designs meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage structural engineering projects throughout all phases of design and construction
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain schedules and budgets
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee project deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
• Support business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience with project management responsibilities
• Proficiency with structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RISA, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and structural systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment
