We are seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our growing design team. In this role, you will contribute to structural analysis and design across a variety of projects while collaborating closely with Structural Leads, Engineers, Designers, and other disciplines.
Location: Remote (U.S. Northwest Region or Canada)
You will play a key role in developing design concepts, executing analysis, and ensuring structural requirements are clearly communicated in design documents and models. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design under general supervision
- Apply engineering judgment in selecting and adapting design techniques and procedures
- Support lateral system design (wind and seismic) in accordance with building codes
- Maintain high standards of quality through detailed self-checks and peer reviews
- Review and validate calculations prepared by other engineers
- Manage assigned workload, timelines, and deliverables effectively
- Take ownership of assigned structural scope and ensure alignment with project goals
- Identify scope changes and communicate proactively with project leadership
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
- Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and adoption of new technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
- Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) license
- 4+ years of structural engineering experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
- Experience with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills
