Structural Engineer (PE)

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to join a dynamic design team, supporting the analysis and design of structural systems across a variety of projects. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, perform structural analysis, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, experience with U.S. building codes, and the ability to take ownership of project scope, schedules, and deliverables.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures
• Apply engineering principles for lateral design (wind and seismic) in accordance with building codes
• Develop design concepts and collaborate with design teams to produce accurate construction documents
• Conduct and review engineering calculations, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Manage assigned work scope, timelines, and deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Identify scope changes and communicate effectively with project leadership
• Support and mentor junior engineers and designers
• Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and engineering processes
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus)
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Minimum 4+ years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
• Experience designing steel and concrete structures
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
