Structural Engineer (Intermediate Level)

Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of commercial, institutional, and industrial building projects. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a strong technical focus, with an emphasis on structural calculations, modeling, and the development of coordinated design documents.

You'll work closely with architects and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, efficient structural solutions that meet project goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural design and analysis for steel and concrete systems
  • Develop and review structural calculations, models, and construction documents
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated designs
  • Contribute to project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Participate in project meetings and coordination efforts
  • Support construction administration activities as needed
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance (depending on experience level)

Tools & Technology

Work is performed in a collaborative engineering environment utilizing industry-standard tools, including:

  • ETABS
  • RAM Structural System
  • Revit
  • Additional structural analysis and modeling software

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
  • 3-6+ years of structural design experience (commercial or institutional projects preferred)
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design for building systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (strongly preferred; may be required based on role)
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change) 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution
