NoteWe are hiring for two positions in Royal Oak, MI, and Clive, IA.Job typeFull Time (Onsite)Relocation assistanceConsidered for the right candidateLocationRoyal Oak, MIDescriptionThe Structural Engineer individual is a licensed Professional Engineer who will design and produce structural construction documents across healthcare, institutional, and commercial portfolio, coordinate structural scope within the firm's BIM environment, and serve as the firm's internal structural authority from early design through construction administration.QualificationBachelor's degree in structural, civil engineering, or architectural engineering, or a related field or Master's degree in structural engineering preferredLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) required or SE licensure a plus, particularly for higher-risk or complex institutional project types7+ years of structural engineering experience across commercial, institutional, or healthcare project typesExperience in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) firm or related industry preferredThorough understanding and capability in Revit and AutoCADProficiency in structural analysis modeling programs such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similarDemonstrated experience across multiple structural systems: steel, cast-in-place and precast concrete, masonry, and light-gauge and heavy timber framingHealthcare or institutional project experience preferred; familiarity with vibration-sensitive environments (operating rooms, imaging suites) a meaningful plusLocation: Clive, IADescription -We are looking for a structural engineer with design experience in a wide range of building project types (commercial, educational, health care, residential and industrial). A self-starter with good communication skills is essential.
