    Description

    Job Title: Structural EngineerLocation: Orange, CAResponsible for assisting experienced staff with design of major building projects (up to $750M) and leading smaller structural design projects.ResponsibilitiesConduct engineering design under limited supervision of an experienced engineer.Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.Collect and analyze data.Use computer software to solve basic engineering problems.Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.Perform structural analysis and design.Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents.Construction administration.Author structural reports, assessments, and studies.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with 2 years of experience or equivalent.US citizenship due to federal contract/security requirements.Preferred RequirementsDemonstrated experience applying all major structural design codes.Experience using 3‑D structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE).Experience designing in Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber.Experience with ASCE 41 for retrofit of existing structures.Experience with wind and seismic lateral design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience using REVIT/AutoCAD for production support.CompensationUSD 83,000 – USD 97,000 annually.Work Location ModelHybrid.Additional InformationAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we believe in your potential and are here to help you achieve it.
