Pay Rate: $60.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Description – Structural Engineer III:

• 
  Perform structural design, analysis, evaluation, and certification activities for complex aerospace systems and components.
  
• 
  Analyze metallic and composite structures to ensure compliance with strict engineering requirements and regulatory standards.
  
• 
  Conduct detailed static strength analyses and develop classical hand calculations to validate structural integrity.
  
• 
  Support product development efforts through structured assessments, trade studies, and technical engineering recommendations.
  
• 
  Generate comprehensive technical documentation, structural assessments, and substantiation reports.
  
• 
  Participate actively in design reviews and provide technical guidance on complex structural engineering matters.
  

Qualifications – Structural Engineer III:

• 
  6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, ideally within the Aerospace and Defense sector.
  
• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and experience performing static strength analysis.
  
• 
  Proficiency with classical structural analysis and industry-standard hand calculation methods.
  
• 
  Solid understanding of core engineering principles, structural mechanics, and design practices.
  
• 
  Preferred experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as MSC Patran, Nastran, FEMAP, or ANSYS.
  
• 
  Familiarity with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, mechanical design principles, liaison engineering, or aircraft modification and sustainment is a plus.
