Structural Engineer I/II*

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Structural Engineer I/II in the Department of Building & Fire Safety. The department will consider candidates qualified at either the level I (EIT) or level II.Under general supervision, reviews plans and specifications for structural requirements and code compliance while performing professional structural engineering activities relating to residential, commercial, and industrial projects for the Department of Building and Fire Safety; and performs related duties as assigned.This classification is distinguished as being the first in the Structural Engineer series. The Structural Engineer I does not require registration as a Professional Engineer.
