Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our Savannah office in Summer 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Structural analysis, design, and detailing of concrete, steel, and timber structures
  • Finite element static and dynamic structural modelling of structures
  • Assist Senior Engineers with the preparation of design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Prepare design calculations and check calculations
  • Coordinate plan details with engineers and drafting technicians
  • Participate in inspection and rehabilitation of structures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis
  • 1-4 years of experience which includes internship experience
  • Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 0-3 years of experience which includes internship experience
  • EIT registration preferred
  • Experience with MicroStation or Revit or Civil 3D
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Availability and willingness to travel

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority of work is office based. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
