Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer, EIT / Designer to join our team of structural professionals servicing federal and state clients across the country, primarily throughout New England. This position can be based out of the Hingham, MA, Burlington, MA, Boston, MA, or Virginia Beach, VA offices. The structures group consists of about 10 staff with varied experience and project backgrounds; we lead and support projects across the United States and support international offices.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer- EIT / Designer, you will be a team member on small and large projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare design calculations and use engineering software to design and develop designs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and presentations.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
