An award-winning engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys a diverse project portfolio, technical problem‑solving, client interaction, and project leadership.The successful candidate will manage complex structural engineering projects from concept through construction while working across a variety of building types, including commercial, institutional, healthcare, higher education, residential, mixed‑use, and specialty structures.This role offers a balance of technical engineering, project management, client engagement, and mentorship, making it ideal for someone looking to continue growing their career within a highly collaborative environment.Location: Boston, MAKey ResponsibilitiesServe as Project Manager and lead structural engineering projects from inception through completion.Perform structural analysis and design for new construction projects.Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client communication.Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary design teams.Lead the preparation and review of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.Conduct site visits and field observations during construction.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Support proposal development, business development, and client relationship management efforts.Review shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs.Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest technical standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).Professional Engineer (PE) license required.7-15 years of structural engineering experience.Proven project management experience with direct client interaction.Experience working on a variety of building projects, including commercial, institutional, mixed‑use, residential, healthcare, educational, or similar vertical construction sectors.Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural design standards.Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, timber, and foundation design is preferred.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred ExperienceExperience leading multidisciplinary project teams.Exposure to complex or architecturally significant structures.Business development and client management experience.Seismic, rehabilitation, renovation, or forensic engineering experience is a plus.What You'll ReceiveOpportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects.Clear pathway toward senior leadership and management.Strong mentorship and professional development support.Competitive compensation and bonus opportunities.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with employer contribution.Generous PTO and paid holidays.Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support.Flexible and collaborative working environment.Compensation$105,000 - $155,000+Compensation will be commensurate with experience, licensure, project management responsibilities, and overall technical expertise.#J-18808-Ljbffr
