LicenseSalary Range: $120,000 - $165,000+ base salary, depending on experience, licensure, and project management responsibilities.About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing and highly respected engineering team in the Boston area. This position is focused on the structural design and delivery of building projects across a diverse portfolio including K-12, higher education, healthcare, commercial, mixed‑use, institutional, and public‑sector facilities .Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering projects from concept design through construction administration.Design and analyze building structures utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and foundation systems.Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation.Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships.Review structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for quality and accuracy.Mentor and support junior engineers and engineering staff.Attend client meetings, site visits, and project coordination meetings.Provide construction‑phase support, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.Contribute to business development efforts and help identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).6-15 years of structural engineering experience focused on buildings.Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.Structural Engineer (S.E.) license preferred.Strong experience with commercial, healthcare, education, institutional, or mixed‑use building projects.Demonstrated project management experience, including client interaction and team leadership.Experience working directly with architects, owners, and contractors.Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high‑quality deliverables.Preferred ExperienceK-12 and higher education facilities.Healthcare and hospital projects.Large commercial and mixed‑use developments.Existing building evaluations, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects.Business development and client relationship management.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance bonuses.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with company match.Generous PTO and paid holidays.Professional development and licensure support.Hybrid work flexibility.Clear path toward technical leadership and project management growth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
