A confidential multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the analysis, design, and detailing of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures in Orange County. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants hands-on design work, close coordination with architects and contractors, and a visible path toward broader leadership or project management responsibility.

What you'll do

• Perform and help oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing across a variety of building projects.
• Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to produce high-quality structural drawing packages.
• Work closely with project teams to keep communication flowing throughout design.
• Potentially lead engineers, designers, and drafters as projects scale.

What you bring

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 6+ years of professional experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures.
• Experience with computer analysis software systems used in structural design.
• Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Comfort working in a multidiscipline consulting environment and coordinating with architectural teams.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience in DSA and/or HCAI projects
• Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in growing toward a senior engineer or project manager path.
