Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer for a partnering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on structural design and engineering for higher education, municipal, health care, large commercial, residential and other unique projects.  

Job Details 
  • Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
  • Create designs of new and existing Structures
  • Conduct Field investigations
  • Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
  • Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.
  • Utilize knowledge of building codes and construction process
Required 
  • BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures
  • 3 plus years’ experience engineering and designing. Experience should include Steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge.
  • Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings
  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
  • Risa structural calculation experience
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering
  • RAM Structural System
  • EIT or PE
Compensation: $65,000-$100,000 based on experience and certifications

Schedule 
Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
