With over 75 years of experience, the company specializes in providing community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.What You Will Be DoingPerform detailed design computationsProject layout and design in MicroStation CONNECT and/or OpenBridgePrepare and/or present preliminary reports and feasibility studiesPrepare, supervise and review the design and preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates and quantity take‑offsTravel to work sites and other project related locations as requiredPlan and organize project assignments by directing work of other engineers and techniciansAssist in the training and development of professional staffOversee the planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projectsSupport business development opportunitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with regulatory agenciesWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or universityLicensed Professional Engineer (or those within 6–12 months of obtaining their license)6+ years progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including bridge design experienceExperience in plan and specification development with construction contract administrationMicroStation CONNECT, OpenBridge and/or OpenRoads proficiencyProficiency in structural design and analysis softwareKnowledge of State DOT requirementsValid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be requiredBolton & Menk will not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM students.
