    Senior Civil / Structural EngineerGreenville, SC (Primary) | Nationwide Office FlexibilityHargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to support complex industrial EPC projects across the U.S. This role is based in Greenville, SC, with flexibility to support work from additional Hargrove offices in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, depending on project needs.This position focuses on technical execution, interdisciplinary coordination, and team leadership on civil and structural scopes for industrial facilities.What You'll DoPerform civil and structural design for complex industrial projectsApply advanced analysis and engineering judgment under general supervisionDevelop conceptual designs, structural layouts, and cost studiesProduce estimate-level and detailed designs, calculations, and material take-offsReview and check calculations, drawings, and vendor documentsCoordinate with other engineering disciplines and project leadershipSupport procurement through scopes and technical bid packagesAssist drafting teams by providing clear sketches and design intentReview construction submittals and fabrication drawingsProvide construction and field support as requiredLead or support small to large project teams focused on scope, schedule, and budgetParticipate in interoffice execution and virtual team collaborationWhat We're Looking ForEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Structural coursework required for structural assignments)Experience6+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural engineering experienceEPC or industrial project experience preferredProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, but not requiredTechnical Skills & KnowledgeWorking knowledge of:IBC and associated standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI)Experience with civil/structural analysis softwareKnowledge of engineering practices for industrial and manufacturing projectsAbility to:Estimate engineering effort and construction quantitiesSupport team delivery and meet project commitmentsProficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStationStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work effectively with virtual and cross‑divisional teamsLocations & FlexibilityPrimary location: Greenville, SCAdditional office options: TX, LA, AL, GA, PAHybrid and interoffice execution support may be availableRelocation assistance may be offered for qualified candidatesHargrove CultureWe work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
