The ideal candidate has foundational experience in structural engineering and works well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to help ensure structural designs meet quality standards, applicable codes, and client expectations.CCI Engineering & Construction offers a great benefits package complete with medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings account, health reimbursement account, flexible spending account, employer‑paid life and disability, 401(k) matching, and paid time off along with other essential benefits.Location: Arlington, TNSalary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annuallyEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in the structural design, analysis, and modeling of building systems using industry‑standard software and toolsSupport the development of structural systems including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framingPrepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineersParticipate in field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as neededCoordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to support structural feasibility, constructability, and compliance with building codes and regulatory requirementsSupport quality control reviews of structural documents and calculationsMaintain effective communication with project teams to meet project schedules and deliverablesAssist with proposal development, scope definition, and technical support as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringEngineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred3–6 years of experience in structural engineering design for building projectsProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)Working knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction methodsFamiliarity with applicable building codes and standardsStrong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsAs a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post‑accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
