Structural Designer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ months to begin - potential to extend

Client: EPC

Responsibilities:
*    Initiates development of personal objectives aligned with those of the organization.
*    Has good understanding of the complete design and has good input into ways of improving the design.
*    Utilize codes and standards to complete assignments.
*    Recognize inefficiencies or misuse of symbology and questions.
*    Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize person productivity.
*    Performs quality checks of the design in a team environment to ensure accuracy.  

*    Prepare detailed structural drawings and models using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant).
*    Interpret and apply engineering calculations, specifications, and design criteria to produce accurate design documents.

Qualifications:
*    10-20 years' relevant experience in civil/structural design.
*    Experience with SmartPlant 

*    Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC, or Petrochemical industries.
