Structural Designer and Engineer

Be our new full-time Structural Designer and Engineer! ADF Engineering in Dayton, OH, is hiring for a full-time role. You will be working a hybrid schedule in this role.

STRUCTURAL DESIGNER AND ENGINEER: YOUR ROLE

As a Structural Designer and Engineer, you'll team up with other engineers and designers to find smart, safe solutions for industrial projects. You'll use design software to create and check building plans, make sure everything meets the right standards, and help solve problems that come up during projects. You'll talk with clients, help plan and schedule project tasks, and see your work move from design to reality. You'll learn new things, work on different projects, and be part of a group that supports each other.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of professional structural engineering experience
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality results

Preferred:

• Master's degree in civil or structural engineering
• Experience with finite element analysis software or consulting engineering
• Familiarity in industrial settings (agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, or biofuels)
• Proficiency with CAD and structural modeling tools
• Familiarity with reviewing and producing engineering drawings

STRUCTURAL DESIGNER AND ENGINEER HOURS

This is a full-time job, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. You'll work with a friendly team in our Dayton office, and you'll have a steady, reliable schedule each week.
