Position Title: Structural Design Engineer II
Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer with our client in Merritt Island, FL.
Job Responsibilities:- Engage stakeholders to gather and clarify structural and functional requirements
- Translate requirements into vendor-ready design packages suitable for fabrication and construction
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and site conditions
- Coordinate with vendors during fabrication to resolve RFIs and design clarifications
- Incorporate engineering changes and design revisions in a fast-moving environment
- Maintain revision-controlled drawing sets and document key design decisions
- Support design reviews and resolve technical questions in the field.
Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of structural, civil, or mechanical engineering experience
- Experience producing fabrication-ready design packages for external vendors
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements
- Proficiency in relevant CAD or design tools.
Preferred Job Qualifications:- Experience with temporary or modular structures, including tent structures
- Familiarity with anchorage, foundation, and environmental load considerations for temporary installations

- Pay Rate: $49-56/hr
