If this statement resonates with you, don't be so hard on yourself‑apply for the job!LocationThe successful candidate will be given the option to work a hybrid work schedule in our Franklin or Nashville office.The Impact You Will HavePrepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projectsManage the process of compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates and pay items in accordance with TDOT standardsLead structural designers on bridge design projectsPrepare and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports necessary for bridge projectsWork with clients in the development of scopes of work and fee estimate proposalsAssume responsibility for assigned design calculation files and plans assuring adequate independent QC reviews on that workWhat We Are Looking ForB.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplinerequiredPE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain through reciprocityMinimum of 10 years of bridge design experience but 12 years of experience is preferredExperience working with TDOT and local municipalitiesExcellent communication and client relation skillsProgressive experience with developing contracts and utilizing Bently CAD and design softwareStrong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedulesAbility to perform complex analysis and designAbility to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projectsWhy BeneschIt's simple.
