Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $40.00/hr - $55.00/hrJob Title: Structural Analysis EngineerJob Location : Chandler Arizona 85286Onsite Requirements:Mechanical Analysis,FEA analysis (linear and non-linear)FEMAP or Nastran or NX or Teamcenter,Job Description:Support various launch vehicle programs by performing structural analysis including detailed hand calculations and linear and non-linear Finite Element Analysis (FEA)Present results to management and customer base while documenting detailed analysis reports for releaseIdentify and troubleshoot structural issues during preliminary/conceptual design and parallel to manufacturingCommunicate project status to direct manager and the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead. Keep daily task organized and up to dateCollaborate with other functional engineers on the team to share insight on any structural issues and to maintain program scheduleDesign, develop, and implement testing methods for metallic and composite material testingHelp to define structural design changes required in high temperature applicationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 10-14 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in a STEM disciplineWorking knowledge in one of the following software: Femap, NASTRAN, NASGRO, Abaqus, MathCAD, NX, TeamcenterDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated ability to use fundamental structural methodsThis position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizenActive Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:A Master's degree in a STEM discipline or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8-10 years of experienceWorking knowledge of high temperature materials and testing for hypersonic applicationsWorking knowledge of structural analysis for composites including carbon and ceramic materialsFamiliarity with fatigue and fracture mechanics.
