We have an excellent opportunity for Strongarm Dump Truck Drivers in our Utah division
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Person shall demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform driving operations using a variety of equipment
Person shall communicate as well as listen effectively
Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work
Drivers shall have the ability to conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues
Job requires steady intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing stooping kneeling climbing walking on uneven ground lifting and washing equipment.
Perform daily equipment walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms.
Perform daily housekeeping on truck.
Safely operate and maintain truck.
Properly load secure & unload material.
Accurately complete load tickets where applicable.
Communicate effectively verbal listening written and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Must learn dumping operator and spotter hand signals for dumping in asphalt pavers and on sub-grade.
Self-motivated team-player with good interpersonal skills ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteousrespectful of others.
Troubleshoot and problem solve situationsproblems material quality equipment operationrepair etc..
Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managerssupervisors.
Ensure OSHA EPA DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
