Job Description:
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care with the team. Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementing quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Guides interdisciplinary team members in performance improvement and incorporates evidence-based practice protocols into daily operations of the stroke program. Ensures a high level of data accuracy and quality for stroke program reporting. Collaborates with community and professional organizations to further education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment. Provides outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships. Other duties as assigned. Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements. Assists with the marketing and advertising of programs and services. Acts as a key decision maker for interdisciplinary teams responsible for monitoring and improving program performance. Facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community, and emergency medical services.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
