Position Overview
The Stringing Machine Technician will serve as a knowledgeable and patient point of contact for customers, assisting with troubleshooting, technical, support, and product guidance. This role requires strong communication skills, hand-on stringing experience, and the ability to deliver exceptional service. GAMMA will provide full training on our complete line of stringing machines.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide troubleshooting support to customers via phone, email, or virtual demonstrations.
· Answer technical questions and assist consumers with proper operation and maintenance of GAMMA stringing machines.
· Deliver clear, professional, and patient communication when resolving issues.
· Document customer inquiries and solutions to help improve processes and resources.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all GAMMA stringing machines and tools.
· Maintain knowledge of hundreds of active machine components, and partially manage part inventory
· Collaborate with the Customer Service and Product teams to escalate complex issues when needed.
Qualifications
· Prior experience stringing tennis racquets is required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical details clearly, excellent organizational skills, and strong memorizations skills
· Patience, professionalism, and a strong customer-first mindset.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
· Strongly prefer candidates located in Pittsburgh, PA
