Strategy & Transformation Sr. Manager

Responsibilities: This role owns key dates, processes, and end-to-end deliverables within the Merchandising Chief of Staff team while ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned and on track to deliver for senior leadership, all grounded in a deep understanding of how retail operates within a large, complex organization. Chief of Staff Operations: Manage all workflows, dates, and deliverables within the Merchandising Chief of Staff organization to reduce friction, improve efficiency, and elevate the quality and impact of leadership communications.

Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Strategy & Transformation Sr. Manager for their Woonsocket, RI/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• This role owns key dates, processes, and end-to-end deliverables within the Merchandising Chief of Staff team while ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned and on track to deliver for senior leadership, all grounded in a deep understanding of how retail operates within a large, complex organization.
• Chief of Staff Operations: Manage all workflows, dates, and deliverables within the Merchandising Chief of Staff organization to reduce friction, improve efficiency, and elevate the quality and impact of leadership communications.
• Act as the connective tissue between business units, functional partners, and the Chief of Staff organization.
• Produce Executive-Ready Materials: Build clear, concise, and decision-ready materials, including presentations, briefing documents, and talking points for senior leadership audiences.
• Manage Ad Hoc Strategic Projects: Support the Chief of Staff and executive leadership on projects with a deep understanding of retail and broader competitive environment.

 
Requirements:

• Deep understanding of the retail business and its components, particularly around merchandising within a large-scale organization
• Proven success in project and program management with strong organization and time management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence without direct authority
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong analytical skill set and proven problem solver
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and change to achieve goals despite potential obstacles
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Required:
