You will support in the translation of strategic documents into tangible delivery and explore mechanisms to enable this, such as national policy and further devolution, and various funding levers, such as the Mayoral Investment Fund. Strong partnership working will be critical to the role and you will ensure all activity is developed through collaboration and that an evidence led approach is taken. You will also have the opportunity to lead on specific projects, research and policies.

What you will bring

  •        Good understanding and experience of how to develop economic strategies, policies and investment plans collaboratively.
  •        Good understanding of local, regional and national economic strategy, policy and legislation.
  •        Experience of working with a range of stakeholders, managing conflicting views and influencing across a variety of seniority levels.
