The Kirby Risk Service Center, a division of Kirby Risk Corporation specializing in the manufacturing of electrical wiring and control panels.
What You'll Do as a Strategic Sourcing SpecialistIn this role, you would be responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies including analyzing market trends, identifying, qualifying, and recommending sources of supply.
You'll:
Establish and maintain positive relationship with suppliersMonitor and track supplier performanceNegotiate with suppliers to secure appropriate costs, schedule, quality, payment and delivery terms.Interpret MRP/ERP reports to determine daily purchasing prioritiesProcess, review, validate, and distribute completed purchase ordersDemonstrate professionalism when representing the company in all communications
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management preferred, work experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management or procurementKnowledge of manufacturing, quality and production control, and planning processesSourcing and negotiating experienceExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Onsite, indoors, in a controlled temperature environment, with a variation of noise levels.This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipmentTravel occasionally for training, customer visits, or vendor meetingsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
