Position Summary:
The Sourcing Lead is responsible for guiding both day to day operations and strategic initiatives at the local level, ensuring high quality support for global sourcing efforts and local manufacturing sites while driving strong performance and operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop Valves group LCR strategies and supplier base strategies in close partnership with key stakeholders and Commodity Managers
- Manage and strengthen relationships with high quality local suppliers across multiple categories, with a strong focus on castings, fabrications, and forgings
- Drive supplier relationship management, including supplier development aligned with ITT standards, capacity planning, and establishing strong senior level partnerships
- Collaborate with Commodity Managers to define the future supplier landscape, aligning with product development roadmaps and regional business needs
- Lead and support supplier negotiations for the valves business, including spend analysis, negotiation strategy, stakeholder alignment, and contract execution
- Partner with the global sourcing team to define and execute commodity strategies and strategic action plans at the supplier level
- Work closely with technical teams on new supplier qualification and continuous improvement of existing supplier quality
- Serve as a key interface with internal stakeholders across global ITT sites to ensure alignment and support
- Monitor and formalize supplier performance through Strategic Supplier Reviews, identifying gaps, driving improvement plans, and executing cost reduction and value creation initiatives
- Proactively manage and resolve supplier related escalations in collaboration with Commodity Managers, Purchasing Managers, and cross functional teams
- Participate in Supplier Business Reviews, contributing to performance discussions and strategic alignment
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of strategic experience within a complex, global supply chain organization, with strong exposure to supplier development. Experience with castings is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from a technical university or equivalent, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability in planning, organizing, and making sound decisions in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop teams
- Strong project management capabilities with a focus on execution and results
- Ability to engage credibly with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners
- Solid understanding of global markets and geopolitical dynamics impacting supply chains

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Equal Pay Act Range:
Annual salary range is from $103,600.00 to $155,000.00, plus benefits & incentive plans.
