Your Role

The Digital Strategic Planning, Delivery & Performance team is responsible for digital planning, project management and delivery for key initiatives, vendor support/partnership, and digital operations. The Strategic Planning & Delivery, Consultant will report to the Principal Delivery Project Manager with a dotted line to the Senior Director. In this role you will be responsible for supporting planning and monitoring activities directly or on behalf of the Planning, Delivery team or Senior Director for key operational and strategic initiatives. You will assist in aggregating monthly and quarterly reporting for the Enterprise Portfolio Value Office and Marketing and Strategy Strategic Planning and Performance Team. Additionally, this role may be assigned as a Project Manager for moderately complex projects.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience in delivery of digital transformation, technology-driven initiatives, or related
  • Requires expertise in PlanView, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools
  • Requires Agile Product Management and/or Information technology/technical background
  • Requires Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SDLC delivery experience
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification strongly preferred
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification strongly preferred
  • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification strongly preferred
  • Executive level communications and ability to synthesize and communicate information

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and implementation of moderately complex projects as assigned
  • Be responsible for supporting annual and quarterly strategic and operational planning activities
  • Assist drivers, planners, and financial partners to obtain estimates to support business planning and forecasting, benefits, and ongoing costs
  • Assist drivers and planners in obtaining initial estimates for annual planning or for new initiatives. Oversee and partner with delivery project managers to update business cases and as part of the annual and quarterly cycle
  • Assist in tracking progress against goals including metrics and performance tracking in coordination with project managers and drivers
  • Facilitate collaboration within the team, build and maintain key stakeholder relationships. Assist leadership in development of presentations and talking points for presentations and meetings
  • Aggregate strategic plans and planning materials; budgeting artifacts; presentations and speaking points for leaders; goal/metrics dashboards and performance tracking outputs
  • Responsible for recommending moderate to significant improvements of processes, reporting, and tools
