Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Strategic Partnerships Development-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Strategic Partnerships Development-related occupation.
  • Position requires 5 years of experience in the following:
    • Business development opportunity and pipeline management or Strategic opportunity sourcing

    • Cross-functional stakeholder management across all organizational levels or Internal stakeholder alignment

    • End-to-end management of complex strategic partnerships or Complex deal management

    • Market analysis of the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEM, Telecom, E-commerce, Retail, Apps, Ads, or Gaming industries or Industry acumen in the tech, auto, or retail sectors

    • Influencing senior leadership on strategic business decisions or Executive stakeholder engagement

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,350 - $204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Position reports to the Google San Francisco, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and strategic initiatives with key partners to achieve overarching business goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of external partners, ensuring long-term value and mutual success.
  • Lead complex negotiations for new deals, renewals, and expansions, driving consensus among internal and external executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams across multiple regions to launch, improve, and scale new product features and user experiences.
  • Oversee the end-to-end partner experience, from contract finalization and integration to issue resolution and ongoing support. Analyze partner performance by tracking key business metrics, building forecasts, and conducting industry research to inform product and partnership strategy.
