Job Description
We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager, Wearables to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in partner management, complex deal execution, and cross-functional leadership and a proven ability to develop partnership strategies, bring products to market, and mitigate risks across the ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders at wearables partners and internally, communicate recommendations, influence outcomes, and provide updates.
- Drive leadership meetings and communicate strategic updates to stakeholders. Prepare cross-ecosystem partner views for executive meetings, escalations, and negotiations.
- Partner with product, engineering, strategic response, legal, policy, communications, and marketing to prepare for partner meetings and public engagements with goals and materials that reflect strategy.
- Develop and manage partnership strategies from deal development through product launch with a focus on growth and measurable results.
- Identify and analyze complex business problems, craft solutions, and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Mitigate risks, manage escalations with internal and external executives, and identify opportunities through landscape mapping and data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years in partner-facing roles within technology or consumer electronics, managing complex deals and partnerships.
- Sound business judgment with experience prioritizing, triaging partner issues, solution-finding, and motivating stakeholders.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams to plan and launch products and mitigate in-market risks, including interpreting legal documents with attorneys.
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, with strong communication skills.
- BA/BS degree.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA degree.
- Business experience in consumer electronics, accessories, devices partnerships, partner management, or consulting.
- Strong technical competence or motivation to learn new technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience building relationships and influence inside and outside product organizations.
- Skilled in navigating, understanding, and enforcing contracts.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business engagements.
