Minimum qualifications:

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The Platforms and Devices (P&D) Central Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to join a team that operates at the intersection of hardware and foundational software. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the nerve center of a major business pillar, where your work directly influences the trajectory of our most ambitious products.In this role, you aren’t just managing a ledger; you are a strategic partner to the organization. P&D Central Finance is responsible for the holistic financial health of the division, meaning your insights provide the "big picture" view that leadership relies on.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the P&L for business units operating across multiple fast-moving industries.
  • Lead project workstreams that drive resource allocation for next-generation platforms and devices.
  • Prepare executive-level materials, translating financial data into compelling narratives for the C-suite.
  • Align technical product roadmaps with financial milestones to ensure innovation is supported by strategic investment.
