Steno is growing. Were looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. Were a diverse team from all over the country and beyond, and were crazy about redefining the boundaries of an outdated industry.
In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our companys growth trajectory. You will work closely with our Director of Strategic Finance and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate financial modeling and strategic financial planning.
Who are you?
You are a financial professional with a background in investment banking. You have exceptional modeling, analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills, and enjoy being creative and coming up with new and innovative solutions to day-to-day business problems.
On a regular basis, you will:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the companys financial models to support strategic decision-making. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for senior management and stakeholders. • Become a strategic partner to departments across the company to help drive data-driven decision-making. • Manage incoming custom pricing requests and negotiations from the Sales team. • Analyze pricing data and market trends to develop competitive pricing strategies. • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Youre gonna crush it if:
You have at least two years of investment banking experience or equivalent experience. You have experience developing and maintaining a financial model from end to end. You have a bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or some other related field. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have the desire to work with a tech start-up and to contribute to the growth of the company. You are proficient with Mac and PC and comfortable learning new systems and software. Familiarity with the Google Suite will help you excel in this role.
Compensation & Benefits
