The technology commodity involves chamber critical components that are at the center of our chambers where customers wafers are processed.
Individuals provides strategic plans for timely inventory control planning and quality control of production materials. Develops implements and maintains policies procedures and material control systems to drive speed streamline procedures and implement solutions.
Ensures for solid strategies to assure availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing decisions as well as coordinating global procurement efforts.
Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory cost savings and cash flow management. Work with suppliers in making sure they have adequate capacity to support Lam demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans.
Manages several global and domestic supplier in the technology commodity supporting Etch & Deposition product lines.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering with minimum of 12 years of related experience or 8 years with a Masters degree or 5 years of experience with a PhD.
Skills and Experience
Familiarity with semiconductor equipment or high-technology supply management practices standards and organizations.
Proven ability to gain partnerships and excel working and leading in a cross-functional environment with new product introduction manufacturing quality and reliability engineers as well as procurement finance and product support.
PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Travel Requirements
May require up to 15-25 travel.
