Strategic Advisory Specialists – Private Capital support investment teams, portfolio companies, and limited partners by providing strategic guidance, capital planning, and portfolio advisory services. The role combines financial analysis, market research, and client-facing advisory work in a dynamic private capital environment.
These specialists collaborate closely with investment professionals, client relationship managers, operations, and legal teams to execute strategic initiatives, optimize capital deployment, and enhance portfolio outcomes.
Advise clients and internal stakeholders on private capital investment strategies, fund structuring, and portfolio allocation
Conduct due diligence on funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investments to support strategic decision-making
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools for portfolio performance, capital deployment, and risk monitoring
Prepare client-facing presentations, investment memoranda, and strategic recommendations
Collaborate with operations, compliance, and legal teams to ensure accurate documentation and process alignment
Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth or optimization
Support the execution of strategic initiatives across portfolio companies and client investments
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve investment outcomes and client satisfaction
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Knowledge of private capital markets, fund structures, and portfolio strategy
Experience or coursework in private equity, venture capital, alternative investments, or investment advisory (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; familiarity with portfolio management or reporting platforms is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal presentations
