We’re hiring a Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across the Portrait Marketplace.
This role is a blend of new business development and account growth. You’ll be responsible for bringing new clinics onto the platform and continuing to support them post-sale to ensure they are actively purchasing and growing their spend over time.
This is not a “close it and move on” role. Success here comes from building relationships, driving adoption, and helping clinics shift how they purchase inventory.
Identify, engage, and close new aesthetic and wellness clinics
Clearly communicate Portrait’s value: platform, pricing, product access, and rewards structure
Drive urgency and move deals toward activation
Own the transition from signed first order placed
Ensure accounts don’t stall after signing
Partner with internal teams to remove friction and get clinics live quickly
Grow monthly purchasing volume across your book of business
Stay engaged with clinics after onboarding to:
Increase order frequency
Expand product adoption
Consolidate vendors into Portrait
Build long-term relationships with clinic owners, providers, and operators
Stay close to accounts to understand:
What they’re buying
Where they’re currently purchasing
What’s preventing them from shifting more volume
Position Portrait as a margin improvement and operations platform, not just another vendor
Educate clients on:
EHR + platform capabilities
Tiered pricing + rewards program
Marketplace product access across injectables, wellness, and pharmacy
Use available levers (ex: temporary tier upgrades) to drive conversions
Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline
Clearly categorize deals:
Close Now
Nurture
Disqualified
Provide visibility into expected activation timelines and revenue
You will manage a book of business + inbound leads (no territory restrictions)
You will hand off onboarding to the operations team, but stay engaged with the account
You are responsible for growth, not just the initial sale
New clinics activated (first order placed)
Monthly GMV generated
Month-over-month growth across your accounts
Strong retention and repeat purchasing behavior
Reduced time from signed first order
7+ Years experience in the aesthetics and/or wellness industry
Experience in sales, preferably in:
Aesthetics, medspa, pharma, or medical sales
OR
Experience in practice management within:
Medspa
Plastic surgery
Dermatology
Strong relationship builder (not just transactional closer)
Comfortable managing both new business and existing accounts
Able to move quickly and maintain momentum across multiple deals
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Ability to understand both the clinical and business side of a practice
Work with a rapidly growing platform in aesthetics and wellness
Access to a large, established clinic network of 1000+ clinics
High-impact role directly tied to revenue growth
