POSITION SUMMARY
Provides customer service within a defined customer base while conferring with necessary departments across the organization to
ensure customer expectations are met.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages customer base and provides service that meets or exceed expectations.
- Coordinates with various departments in order to develop and maintain profitable traffic lanes.
- Solicits outbound freight for both primary and secondary lanes.
- Enters available loads with all required information to properly dispatch and pick up the load, create the freight bill, and supply the
customer with any necessary EDI information.
- Schedules loading and unloading appointments in order to meet customer requirements and to maximize driver productivity.
- Monitors all customer specific loads for service issues from the time the load is tendered until it is delivered.
- Discusses customer issues and concerns with the appropriate operations and sales departments when necessary.
- Monitors customer specific trailer poos and confers with appropriate personnel as needed.
- Reviews customer scorecards with customer development leaders and makes recommendations accordingly.
- Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Manages regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned
