Location: Wedgewood Golf and Country Club Department: Food & Beverage / Club Operations Reports To: Executive Chef & Chief Financial Officer Status: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Storeroom Manager to oversee all food and operational inventory for a high-volume private club environment. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking products while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting cost-control initiatives across kitchen and clubhouse operations.

The ideal candidate has hospitality or restaurant inventory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with chefs, accounting staff, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect all food, beverage, and supply deliveries
  • Verify invoices, quantities, quality, and purchase orders
  • Maintain organized dry storage, refrigeration, freezer, and other inventory areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts
  • Track product usage, waste, shortages, and variances
  • Issue products to kitchen and bar departments
  • Ensure FIFO rotation and food safety standards are maintained
  • Coordinate with accounting on invoice reconciliation and accounts payable support
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management software and spreadsheets
  • Assist Executive Chef and F&B leadership with cost-control reporting
  • Develop and maintain pars for food, paper goods, and operational supplies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory, storeroom, purchasing, or hospitality operations experience preferred
  • Restaurant, hotel, country club, or food-service background strongly preferred
  • Experience with inventory or purchasing software such as:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Jonas Club Software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated storage areas
  • Basic accounting or invoice-processing knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
