What You'll Do

Store Operations
  • Lead all daily store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and merchandising
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
  • Oversee POS systems, cash handling, and daily reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a strong team of staff and leaders
  • Set clear expectations and coach employees for success
  • Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback

Sales & Business Performance
  • Drive store sales and exceed performance goals (KPIs)
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize results
  • Manage labor and operating costs to improve profitability
  • Promote product knowledge and upselling techniques

Customer Experience
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Create a welcoming, customer-first environment

Inventory & Merchandising
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking
  • Oversee product displays, pricing, and promotions
  • Conduct inventory counts and support loss prevention efforts
  • Execute seasonal and promotional merchandising strategies

Financial & Operational Accountability
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and budgets
  • Partner with leadership on financial performance reviews
  • Ensure the store meets financial and operational goals

Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Support and implement marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Collaborate on local initiatives to drive foot traffic and sales
  • Ensure staff awareness of all current promotions

What You Bring
  • Associate degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of retail management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing teams
  • Ability to analyze data and drive business performance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with retail systems and POS technology
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and insurable driving record

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor environments and requires:
  • Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
