General Manager, Zaxby's Leavenworth KSPay: $50,000 to $70,000 base depending on experience, plus monthly bonus program tied to store performanceJob Type: Full time, salariedHours: Minimum 50 hours per week, including at least one opening, one closing, and one mid shift each weekSchedule: Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidaysReports to: District ManagerPosition SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and team performance of our Leavenworth Zaxby's. The GM directly supervises 2 to 5 managers and 15 to 50 team members, and is accountable for sales, profit, guest experience, and food safety.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth through outstanding product quality and guest serviceHit period targets for sales, food cost, and laborWrite and post the weekly schedule by Thursday at 5 pmEnsure the store is fully staffed with quality team members at all timesRecruit, hire, train, and develop team members, shift managers, and assistant managersConduct performance reviews for all team members and managers twice per yearExecute all operating systems daily to maintain a clean, organized restaurantPurchase food, beverages, and supplies and oversee preparation to brand standardsMaintain working knowledge of all kitchen and FOH equipment and oversee preventive maintenanceLead by example to maintain service standards throughout the dayUse management tools to keep accurate records and plan for sales and profit growthExecute all marketing plans on time and accurately to drive repeat visitsInitiate and implement approved Local Store MarketingReview P&L statements with the District Manager and take corrective action on variancesContinually develop assistant managers to prepare them for GM responsibilityMaintain food safety and cleanliness in compliance with federal, state, and local health codesHandle coaching, counseling, and disciplinary documentation per company standardsQualifications2 plus years of QSR or fast casual management experience as a GM, or strong AGM ready to step upPrior Zaxby's experience and ZU certification preferredServSafe certified, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hireWorking knowledge of inventory purchasing, scheduling, POS systems, and reading KPIsComfortable reviewing and acting on P&L statementsStrong leadership, communication, and time management skillsSelf directed and highly organizedReliable transportationBilingual English Spanish a plusPhysical RequirementsAble to stand, walk, and use hands for prolonged periodsAble to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 poundsComfortable working in a restaurant environment with kitchen equipment and hazardous conditionsComfortable working in an office environment with computer and office equipmentBenefitsCompetitive base salary and monthly performance bonusProfit sharingPaid time offFree shift mealsCareer growth and advancement opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
