This is a working manager role that actively participates in: Guest service (front counter and drive thru), Beverage and food production, Team support during peak periods.Because the Store Manager regularly performs the same duties as tipped employees, this role is eligible to earn tips while on the clock when engaged in direct customer service.CompensationBase Hourly Rate: $19.75 to $29.00 per hourBilingual Pay Differential:+ $1.00 per hour for employees who speak English & at least one additional language (besides Spanish)+ $2.00 per hour for employees who speak English & SpanishOvertime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40/week (includes bilingual differential)Tips: Eligible to earn and accumulate tips while on the clock when performing direct service work (cash tips, credit/digital tips, tip pool distributions if applicable). No tip credit taken; LaMar's pays full hourly wage per Nebraska minimum wage laws. Tips are additional compensation.Tip Participation RulesThe Store Manager:CAN earn tips when: Serving guests directly, Running POS/drive thru, Preparing beverages or food, Supporting team during active service.CANNOT earn tips when: Performing administrative duties (scheduling, hiring, payroll, inventory planning, office/admin work).Break and Meal Periods10 minute paid rest break for every 4 hours worked.30 minute unpaid meal period for shifts over 5 hours.BenefitsHealth, dental, vision, life and supplemental insurance.Paid time off and sick leave.Employee discounts.Career growth opportunities and pathway.Core ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership: Manage all daily store operations, ensure compliance (health and safety regulations, food safety standards, brand SOPs), maintain luxury level store presentation, drive store toward $2M–$4M+ annual revenue targets, manage labor %, food cost %, sales performance, execute upselling and premium product strategies.Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff; maintain compliance with Nebraska labor laws, Equal Pay Act, anti‑discrimination policies; lead by example as a working manager.Scheduling and Labor Management: Build efficient schedules aligned with sales; ensure legal compliance for breaks, overtime, wage laws.Guest Experience (Fast Luxe Standard): Deliver elevated hospitality experience; resolve issues immediately; maintain speed, accuracy, professionalism.Production and Quality Control: Oversee donut production, beverage program, food consistency; maintain premium quality standards.Inventory and Supply Chain Execution: Manage ordering and inventory, reduce waste and shrinkage, ensure vendor compliance.Administrative Duties: Timekeeping and payroll approvals, hiring and onboarding, performance management.Note: Administrative time is non‑tipped work.Required Qualifications2–5+ years of restaurant, café, or retail management experience.Experience managing hourly teams.Strong operational and financial understanding.Ability to work in high volume environments.Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain).Preferred QualificationsCoffee/specialty beverage experience.Bakery or donut production experience.Drive thru operations experience.Franchise system experience.Key CompetenciesLeadership and accountability.Financial discipline.Guest first mindset.Attention to detail.Ability to work in fast paced environments.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsStanding for extended periods (12–14+ hours).Lifting up to 50 lbs.Early morning shifts (2:00–4:00 AM production).Fast paced, high volume setting.Schedule ExpectationsFull time (35–45+ hours/week).Must be available for early mornings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and holidays.Equal Opportunity and Pay Equity StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
