The Store Manager will be responsible for the management and development of their team, while driving brand awareness and an exceptional customer experience.Duties And ResponsibilitiesSales & Performance Management:Drive and push store sales goals while ensuring that the team works effectively to meet or exceed them.Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and implement strategies to achieve store targets. Understand the factors of performance including VM strategy, inventory management, traffic, staffing, and conversion.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing customer concerns or complaints.Leadership & Team RecruitmentLead, motivate, and manage a team of retail leaders and sales associates to ensure high performance and positive work environment. Strategically recruit, train, and manage to ensure the successful day-to-day operations and customer experience, maximising functions between Retail and Café.Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities across the retail team so all skills and knowledge are learned. Including individual TBs and performance reviews.Uphold company standards through strong leadership, mentorship, and overall communication to the wider team.Onboard and train new and existing team members on SOPs, best practices and new practices.Retail Experience And OperationsOversee all store functions including inventory management, visual merchandising, and daily reporting while ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.Ensure that all systems and processes are taken into account with client experience as the main focus.Always demonstrate an authentic, best-in-class approach to customer satisfaction whilst role modelling for the team on best practices aligned with company guidelines.Effectively manage store-related budgets and financial planning, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Management team, advising on areas of opportunity.Oversee inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and manage stock replenishment alongside material management and operating supplies.Ensure compliance with all company policies including cash handling, register procedures, brand, styling & language.QualificationsBachelor's Degree preferredMinimum 4 years' experience in retail managementProficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systemsProven ability to build, lead and motivate high performing teamsAnticipatory and ability to take initiative with keen attention to detailExcellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills as well as good decision-making abilities in high pressure situationsExhibit excellent organizational skills to effectively plan and execute short- and long-term projects aligned with the global strategyCreated in 2014, Aimé Leon Dore is a lifestyle, sport and ready-to-wear brand based out of Queens, New York.
