DFS Houston Client Experience Store ManagerDress for Success® Houston (DFS Houston) is seeking an engaging, organized, and service-focused Store Manager, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about empowering women, to join our Client Experience team. This person oversees the daily operations of the suiting and inventory program for Dress for Success Houston, delivering an excellent client and volunteer experience while supporting the Client Experience team in the day-to-day operations of the agency.Key ResponsibilitiesSuiting ProgramOversee day‑to‑day operations of the suiting program, ensuring volunteers have the needed resources.Coordinate daily client flow, providing daily guidance, coaching, and feedback to volunteers.Maintain store readiness and visual standards to support suiting operations.Inventory ProgramOversee the full inventory flow cycle in collaboration with the Inventory Assistant.Coordinate large donations and serve as the point of contact for Her Path Forward attire drives.Review and approve incoming donations; train and direct volunteers on sorting, tagging, and stocking.Ensure accuracy of inventory for reporting, audits, and monthly reconciliation; prepare monthly reports.Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships to procure additional inventory to maintain a full size range.Client and Volunteer ExperienceEnsure a welcoming, client‑centered experience across all touchpoints.Supervise store and warehouse volunteers; train new volunteers on procedures and standards.Resolve issues related to appointments, inventory, or volunteer support that impact client experience.Point of Contact for volunteer merchandising groups, ensuring a fulfilling experience.Additional ResponsibilitiesTrack metrics related to the store, inventory, and volunteers; report trends and implement improvements that enhance engagement and service quality.Maintain and update all materials to support volunteer and staff training in the Suiting and Inventory programs and support materials for suiting clients.Support agency events throughout the year, including fundraising and program events.QualificationsSkills: Operational coordination, inventory flow management, training/coaching, communication, donor/vendor relations, problem‑solving, process improvement.Abilities: Lead in fast‑paced environments, engage volunteers, maintain high standards, make quick decisions, adapt to changing needs, perform physical tasks, standing/walking for a majority of the day, lift/push/pull 40 lbs. or more as required. Able to work and communicate with people from all backgrounds, maintaining a calm, caring and professional demeanor. Maintain a professional appearance and ability to style women of all sizes.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Retail/Hospitality, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.5–7 years in retail, program management, or related fields; 2–3 years supervising staff or volunteers.Experience with inventory systems, client service, and process improvement.Experience with a CRM (Salesforce preferred).Experience with Microsoft Office 365, specifically, Bookings, Planner, Excel, Word, and Access.Working ConditionsIndoor store and warehouse facility, climate-controlled.Minimum of 35 hours/week reliably available between 9 am and 4:30 pm M-F on-site at DFS Houston.Must be able to work evenings and weekends, at least two per month.#J-18808-Ljbffr
